The rapscallions that permiate most of high fantasy literature known as the fairies have been a sore spot in Dungeons & Dragons as a race to physically distinct to appropriately fit in the rules yet are also too iconic to house rule the issues away. Their qualities have frustrated and captivated many a player, if only they could somehow work in 5th Edition. Well now, they do. The Faerie race is a homebrew race option that allows players to try to play as one of the fantastic residents of the Summer or Gloaming Courts from the Feywild. With 4 sub-race options, from the stout hearted burrowers Aes Sith to the banished survivors of the Material Plane Goona and all the magic dust spewing and river charm dwelling fey in between!
